SSD pro has a longer warranty, so should last longer. Since I would replace/upgrade my computer every 5 years, I would put the OS (Operating system on a regular SSD and the data on a SSD PRO. When upgrading to a new computer, you can remove the old data SSD and place it in the new desktop or in an external drive compartment. In this way you save yourself time to transfer the data. Samsung lets you choose in the SSD setup between "Performance" and "Data-security." So, choose "High performance" for the Operating System (like Windows 10) and "Data-security" for the DATA-Drive.
