• You can download the software. As I mentioned in my review, the software to transfer data from old hd to the new one did not work for me.

• Yes, the cloning software does come on cd. You have a couple options... either A. Borrow/ use and external CD rom or B. Use a third party cloning software. I highly recommend Acronis 2017 backup + cloning software which you can purchase at Best Buy.

• I don't remember but you can download the software from the URL Samsung provides in the instructions.

• It comes with a CD but the software can also be downloaded from Microsoft.
