I have one installed on my Desktop PC and it's working just fine. I have SATA2 so I don't get the max performance from it but it is working very well for me. No complaints here.

You may want to buy an adapter to which you can mount the smaller SSHD and then store in the same slot where you had the regular sized HD. This allows you to securely attach it, bit personally, I have not done this and left is lose inside the pc because I'm not planning to move it a lot, plus I didn't want to spend extra money for the mount.
