Doubt it. Usually these cloning programs have more trouble with mismatched size of drives than anything. For instance, I tried to clone a 1TB drive to a 960GB SSD replacement and the software that came with the 960GB drive wouldn't do it. But other than that, no issues.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The only problem I had was that I did not realize that my Dell 8900 MB wants the boot drive on SATA 0 connection, so after migrating/cloning the SSD needs to be connected to the same cable as the HD was, not a different SATA port. I thought my cloning was not working and repeated it but would not work as a boot drive except on SATA 0.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not familiar with Acronis, haven't used it in over 10 years, but the Samsung Migration software should work fine for the cloning. I moved/cloned my striped raid volume (2 disks) to this single SSD with no problems using the Samsung supplied software. If you are intent on using Acronis, I would consult them for compatibility issues.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No issue. It will work if you make sure you have the proper cables and make sure that the destination drive is bigger than the source drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You should have no problems. I would recommend that you get a cable to connect the drive to your computer so you can use the included Samsung software.
