It depends on the connection it provides on the motherboard. Most likely, say 90% sure, it will be this one because the other connection type is PCIe. Those are generally for desktop computers and extreme gaming laptops. I bought this one and I am not complaining 1 bit. It is a true SSD and I turned the 1TB HDD that came with the laptop into a storage drive instead. It provides the 500mbs read and write, which is fairly standard, so it boots and loads everything extremely quickly. It's a Samsung product so you know the value is good. And for this price, you will not be disappointed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you got the 15" model all I found is that there is a M.2 slot for the expandability and yes the samsung 850 EVO would work in that M.2 slot. The SATA interface should be compatible with the slot no matter if it is a PCI-E slot. But I didn't find that mentioned anywhere. Not much around as far as research on this specific laptop. But even if you do get it and it doesn't work for some reason you could always return it. But it should work.
