• You should be able to swap out just about any laptop hard drive for another... They are normally standard size!

• You can, the HP Omen normally uses a 2.5" HDD unless specified. So swapping to a 2.5" SSD would not be any problem/

• I check the specs of the laptop and it looks like you can just make sure the drive is 2.5", before purchasing there are another kind of SDD the ones like the MacBook Air uses.

• you can, but most of the omens have a 128gb boot drive that is solid state. Most games and applications will not benefit from sad performance yet.
