It is a solid state drive like an SD card. No spinning disk. Much faster response than a disk type drive and no mechanical components to wear out

There are no moving parts in this one. It is a solid state drive.

SSD drives are a direct access drive and therefore are not measured by rpm, as convention drives with disks are. Conventional disk drives have an rpm measure as the faster they can spin the faster they can read the data on the drive as it passes by the read/write head. SSD drive do not have read/write heads, they just go the exact location with in the memory to retrieve the data. Basically SSD drives are a large memory storage.
