It should. I put it in an old dell and just swapped out the magnetic drive. The carrier on the mag drive should be removable and would attach to the samsung. So i don't think you need to buy anything but the drive. Just remember to pull your battery before you do the install.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thanks for your response... SSD mount not needed for laptop only for a tower or desktop PC. Installed the Samsung SSD replacing the old SAGA drive which was going bad... Had to create Discovery disk (took 6 dvds) to pull the info off the saga... Took about 6 hours total including dismantling the laptop. Found a utube video which helped a lot.... the SSD drive is so fast now runs a 100 times faster then ever did even when new.
