• I am relatively confident that you do not need a special bracket. You should be able to use the existing bracket and mounting screws. You will need an adapter if you want to transfer files to this. Who’re installation.

• Should work. Only concerns are: - Thickness, this is slimmer compared to old SATA 2.5" hard drives; but it shouldn't be a show stopper. - SATA speed, you will be restricted to the laptop's SATA speed.
