It is compatible... I currently have one installed on my Ps4
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will work as an internal drive in any PS4, yes. I have one in my PS4 Pro. It will also work as external storage for PS4 and Xbox if you get a SATA-USB adapter or enclosure. If using as an internal drive, don't expect a huge performance boost. The PS4 wasn't designed or optimized for fast storage. Most the time the game itself doesn't load any faster to its main menu because you can't skip the logo screens and intro movies. Loading a save game itself is faster for some games, others not so much. System boot, restart, and shut down are each about 5 seconds faster. The base PS4s use a slower SATA controller than the Pro does, so they may not benefit at all. The PS3 only supported up to 1TB drives as of firmware 4.0 so I doubt it would recognize a 2TB drive. The PS3 was also designed to work with standard 512-byte sector hard drives, not advanced format or SSDs, so you might run into other compatibility issues.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, this drive can be used on PS3 and PS4.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. PS4 is in particular easy. Not sure about if PS3 can detect all 2TB of space or not. But ps3 won’t make any good use of SSD. This drive is still over $240. Not sure if ps3 is worthy of such costly upgrade.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't see why not it is just another sata ssd, as long as you have a sata connector....
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, the drive cannot be used on a PS3 or PS4 console.
