Not sure of your specific system, but SATA is SATA. I just installed it on my HP All-in-One system. It plugged in just fine and is super fast. The drive might be capable of a little faster transfer speed, but your system will determine the transfer speed it uses. It should work just fine as long as you have the proper SATA cable.

It should, SATA is SATA whether it’s on a PC or a Mac. That being said, it will depend on if the BIOS will read and write to the drive. You might go to the motherboard manufacturers website and check the documentation.
