Hi JFGrunt! The soundbar, subwoofer, and each rear speaker will need to be plugged into a wall outlet which is the power source we refer to. The soundbar should be connected to the TV via HDMI for optimal sound performance. Both the subwoofer and the rear speakers will automatically connect to the soundbar when powered with a wireless connection. ^Tim
