Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. But it would probably be a good idea.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No u don’t as long as u have good air flow they stay cool for the most part it all comes down to how much flow u have of air if it’s the the front by your gpu then u might be fine if it’s in the back of the motherboard I would
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use this with a ryzen 3 3200g. asus b450 mobo, stock cooler on the chip and 2 case fans.Mobo and chip both idle at 36c, never an overheating problem.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nope, mine runs fine without and still gets decent temps, but make sure your case airflow is good.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That depends on the environment. They do get hot so airflow is a must. Heatsinks are cheap for these so I'd invest in one anyway just for a little added peace of mind.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, M.2 SSD's do not require a dedicated heatsink. That said, it's a good idea to keep your computer well cooled using conventional methods.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't use them on mine because I have good cooling fans in my systems but you can't go wrong with a heatsink. I've seen them online.. perhaps I'll get them soon. These drives do get rather warm.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it doesn't need a heatsink. It has a thermal pad underneath the chip itself. The motherboard will need to have NVMe compatibility and provided it does, it should have a heatsink that will sit on that thermal pad.
