• No it will not, you system has SATA 3 but does not have NVME or M.2 support, sorry. You can upgrade your Mac pro with a SATS 3 SSD drive, it will speed it up nicely. But note, this is not an hard upgrade to do, but you need to be very careful not to crack your screen!!! you can go to the following website and select: Hard Drive, instead of replacing it with another mechanical drive, you can replace it with an SATA SSD, I recommend either Samsung: Samsung - 860 EVO 500GB or Crucial: Crucial MX500 500GB. https://www.ifixit.com/Device/iMac_Intel_21.5%22_EMC_2805 Hope this helps.

• You have to check the size. They come in 3 different lengths.
