I too have an Alienware M15 R3, but run a 500GB Samsung EVO Plus in it. I've had no issues w/that model, so I expect the same when it comes to having a Samsung 980Pro as well, other than being a little faster perhaps. I also run a Samsung 1TB Samsung 980Pro in an Intel Intel Hades Canyon, which I just acquired, and haven't had any problems w/that one either. I'm able to run the game Star Citizen, a very graphics intensive game, w/no problems on either system.
