• Asus Rog Strix is not one motherboard model. Some of the motherboards in this line have heatsinks built into the motherboard. Your real question should be addressed to the manufacturer or seller of the motherboard. You then need to decide how you intend to install the drive, as a first or second as these boards typically have two different M2 slots and one runs slower than the other. Some users would want to use the heatsink capacity of the motherboard for appearances. If so, you do not want to try to pry off these factory applied heatsinks and they also cost more than one without.
