• Is just a new one really and looking to grab customers with any phone that was Qi wireless (hence iPhone 8's and X). The only mild difference from the other more expensive ones like the convertible is the size of the pad, a little higher wattage and that the convertible can be placed flat or vertical (hence the name).

• Yes,the difference is that the usb plug is out dated. It does not fit the newer Samsung phones if you want to occasionally use it as wired instead of wireless
