“Is it okay to use the Affresh washer cleaners in this machine? I tried using one on the "normal" cycle, and the pod didn't fully dissolve. I know it has a self cleaning function, but is it okay to use one of the Affresh pods as well and if so, what would be the best setting to use it?”

Those never work just pour in cleaning vinegar and baking soda in the bottom of the washer and run on the longest setting with the highest heat! Also pour vinegar in the fabric softener if you use that to get the build up out

One of the benefits of Samsung's Self Clean cycle on the WA48J7700AW is that it doesn't require any harsh chemicals or additives to clean the drum. If you do wish to use this product, I'd suggest referring to the instructions on the package particularly with regard to the temperature setting. - Ms. Samsung
