“Can more be added to the washer after it has started the wash cycle or will the lid be locked?”

This question is for: Samsung - activewash 5.2 Cu. Ft. 15-Cycle Steam Top-Loading Washer

It locks. Will have to turn off and restart.

When you hit "Pause," it unlocks it so you can add additional clothes. Then push the "Start" button again.

Yes. Simply press the Start/Pause button and the door will unlock. I'm not sure if more water will be added.

Yes the washer allows you to add items after the start of the wash cycle

Yes, you can add items after a cycle has started. There's a "Start/Pause" button that will pause the cycle and unlock the lid. Then you press it again to restart the cycle. Easy.
