“I just got this washer not even 2wewks old my question is why is this machine so loud? It makes a gear grinding sound and when it drains and is just so loud over all ? Am I the only one who notices this? Old Samsung was not loud like this one !”

Sounds as if you have a problem machine as we have the same machine and it is smooth & quiet.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Can't imagine these problems. I find ours is quiet & efficient. I enjoy using it. Love the music as the load is done. The tub is deep for many. I use a set of kitchen tongs (mine have rubber like tips ) to retrieve clothes I cannot reach. Also turn the tub when needed. So far -so good!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it is a little louder when it is draining. It is the pump that removes the water from the tub. However, I had a very expensive set of another brand, actually almost twice as expensive and it made the same noise.
