Does this set require the use of the foot pedestal? null

This does not require a foot pedestal. To be honest, it would probably be hard to grab clothes from the bottom of the drum if it were any higher..

No. Mine sites directly on the floor. It’s a top load washer and it’s deep so if it were on a stand then you would need a ladder to get clothes out of it.
