I just asked a Samsung tech this same question, in a chat. They say yes, it can.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The answer is no. The M7 series do not support PIP or PBP (Picture in Picture / Picture by Picture). So the promo mockup pictures you may see of the M7 32" showing two separate OSs side by side (PBP - say input 1 on left and 2 on right) is completely false - that's no supported. Same thing goes for the 43" promo picture here that shows a background of the smart TV functionality with two desktops - one input on the top right and one on the bottom right - that again is completely false. The M7 series DOES NOT support PIP or PBP. After reviewing what little there is in info, I believe the same is true for the new M8 series too. Net net - if you need PBP or PIP and bearing in mind that the 43" is dying for you to multitask on - I would suggest you look elsewhere or be disappointed. On trusting the word of a stranger - if in doubt, ff it doesn't specifically state it in the manual or in the datasheet assume it isn't happening. hth Dingo

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am pretty sure that this is just sizing of windows, versus two different inputs/windows.
