Please try again later.The player will play audio if you have AC3 and/or DTS audio tracks in the .mkv container but the player does NOT pass the DTS or Dolby digital surround to the tuner. Also, when you play .mkv files the blu-ray player will NOT support (display) the subtitle track if you have one in the .mkv container. This blu-ray player can browse movies on another source (like a computer) via DLNA. The downside to this is if you stop playback and then later watch the same file it will not resume playback where you last watched the movie -it will begin playback at the beginning. Similarly, if the player has a network issue, playback will stop and you will be dumped back to the main menu -forcing you to navigate to the file (again) and begin playback at the beginning (again). IF you play the movie files from a local USB (thumb) drive it will resume playback where you last played the file -provided you leave the USB drive plugged into the player.
