• If the 3D movie is closed captioned or subtitled it will work. But not all 3D movies have subtitles or are close captioned. Check the movie you want to watch for information.

• Yes, I watch subtitles while viewing 3D movies. no problems at all. Works on all my 3D Samsung TV's.
