• This player only upscale to 4k regular Blu ray movies, it was not made to play actual 4k UHD movies, i learned the hardway.

• No, it will not play 4K Ultra HD Disc movies..( I tried) you will need to by a 4K Blueray play for that. It just does the 4K Upscaling on streaming.
