• If the DVDs were recorded or copied a 4K format, it will not play in the BD-J6300's player.

• Well I'm sure you must mean 4K Blu rays because 4K standard DVDs do not exist to my knowledge. As for 4K "restored" Blu rays, I have never tried them. I'm also wondering where you found same. Sorry I cannot help.
