“Are folks experiencing freezing issues with this DVD player? I played a brand new, fresh out of the box dvd (Deadpool) and it kept freezing up at times. Literally the first dvd I played in it. It's happened with a couple of other dvds I've tried.”

I haven't experienced any freezing issues "yet" but I am experiencing wireless connection issues despite no wireless router problems since my phone and laptop still connect.

I have had no problems whatsoever with my unit. You may want to look into the cables your using to connect to tv
