    • Answer It does not upscale a blu ray movie to true 4K. It upscaled to "near" 4K. Nevertheless, it looks amazing. The other day I was watching Harry Potter, and I froze a scene, and I stood next to the TV, just a foot away, (it is a 4K 65 inch), and the details are amazing. I do not regret buying this combination at all. Keep in mind that a true 4K player is coming out in a few months (most likely at a premium price) so if you want to invest a couple hundred dollars into this machine, that is something you must remember.
