Hi and yes. Inside it has a pitcher that fills with water. And you can pour it whenever you want. For about a month we had a different Samsung fridge where the ice and water dispenser was outside the fridge. We like this one better because it uses hardly any space inside the fridge. The ones with the dispenser outside use a lot of space inside the fridge.
