• A:Answer Hello there, Yes, as long as the water pressure is between 30-125 psi (206-861 kPa). The water line also connects to the ice maker. For the ice maker to operate properly, it must be within the aforementioned water pressure. For about a month we had a different Samsung fridge where the ice and water dispenser was outside the fridge. We like this one better because it uses hardly any space inside the fridge. The ones with the dispenser outside use a lot of space inside the fridge.
