The Glass
Pro: panels are easier to clean, glossier, and can help prevent dings and scratches.
Cons: it can break once hit by enough force with a pointed, even blunt object.
For Stainless(Metals)
Pro: industrial look, Durable
Cons: Color options are on the matte/darker shade. It can dent/scratch with enough force

A:AnswerHighly doubt it. The panel color come prefabricated, is beneath the glass panel. Therefore you're stuck with whatever Samsung sell on your market. In Korea they sell over 256 models (colors and patters) plus fully customizable ones. In US there are only a handful of colors and they just started with the customizable ones.

But if that is not possible, yes the panels are separate if you want something special, I got them in white and yes they are an add-on and be careful, the lower panels are a different size (smaller) than the upper panels. They are approximately $100 each. I am not sure what the standard panels are that the fridge comes with, I suspect they are stainless steel but I did not want that.
