Makes sure you do not hinder or crush the gas line it is not recessed. Yes, the stove will stick out from standard countertops about 3.25" for the door and 4.50" for the control panel. The rear is 1.50 inches from the wall. Back wall to countertop edge 25". Backsplash to counter edge 24".
