“Chef collection microwave installation Can I install this microwave by itself with an all around vent? Or does it have to be in top of the range? I was planning to buy it but installed it on all cabinet wall and the oven in a separate area. If yes, where can i get the vent installation kit. Thanks”

Hi Kate, This and other Samsung Over The Range Microwaves don't have to actually be placed over a range, but they do need to be hung from a cabinet and secured to a rear wall for stability. The ME21H9900AS comes with the parts needed to recirculate filtered air back into the room. If you prefer to vent it externally, you'll need to purchase the vent ducts separately. The venting is amazing as well as the led lighting that you would lose use of. I'm sure you could call Samsung and ask, but that isn't the design like some of the others.
