QuestionCan I buy this with an installation service?

- Answer Yes. I bought mine with added installation that was approx $119 extra. They came out, uninstalled the old microwave & installed the new one. It took the one guy less than 10 min to replace, but heck I didn't know how to do it! Apparently there are 2 screws on the top of the cabinet, and there are hooks on the wall to hold the microwave in place as you swing the microwave up or down & unhook or hook a microwave in place. The hooks are installed on the wall aligned to the wooden studs, of course! Anyways, now you know!

QuestionI have seen this microwave advertised as having a depth of over 18". someone else here said it was about 17.5" deep WITH the handle. Measuing from the back to the front (NOT measuring the handle) how deep is it?

- Answer Yes, it can. It actually comes constructed to vent to an outside connection, and has directions for the two types of outside ventilation connections.

- Answer I did not get a stove. I got the Samsung built-in microwave, Chef's Edition. Works well. Exhaust can be tricky if the cabinet it's attached to is as deep as the mw. The exhaust does not function like you would expect in that situation.

QuestionChef collection microwave installationCan I install this microwave by itself with an all around vent? Or does it have to be in top of the range? I was planning to buy it but installed it on all cabinet wall and the oven in a separate area. If yes, where can i get the vent installation kit. Thanks

- Answer Hi Kate, This and other Samsung Over The Range Microwaves don't have to actually be placed over a range, but they do need to be hung from a cabinet and secured to a rear wall for stability. The ME21H9900AS comes with the parts needed to recirculate filtered air back into the room. If you prefer to vent it externally, you'll need to purchase the vent ducts separately. I would suggest calling 888-BEST BUY or contacting your local Best Buy Appliance team for assistance in this regard. Thank you for your interest! Ms. Samsung
