A:Answer There is no function within the Surface Book 2 that I have come across where it was required for me to have a stylus. However, i did purchase one because i plan on drawing and taking notes with my laptop. And while a stylus is not required for those purposes, it does make it a lot easier. But touch screen functionality with just your finger is more than sufficient for web browsing, occasional doodling, and almost everything else. And to answer your second question, unfortunately no, the stylus is not included with the Surface Book 2.
