- Answer Yes, on the 64-bit ARM Chromebook Plus, I was able to install Crouton chroot environment on the internal eMMC card (so that it runs aarch64 Ubuntu 16.04 LTS alongside ChromeOS), as well as dual-booting Arch Linux from a separate SD card. Both distros run in full GUI mode via software rendering on ARM CPU (no GPU hardware support yet) and with audio/wifi/touchscreen etc. support. Not sure about Kali Linux, but from what I've read on their website, they currently only show support for 32-bit ARM devices.

- Answer You can't change the RAM or the SSD. It's an Arm System on Chip (SoC). The 4GB of RAM and the 32GB of on board storage are fixed. There is a micro SD expansion slot and I believe it'll take up to a 256GB card. I have a 128 in mine.

- Answer You can add any of Adobe's MOBILE versions (from Creative Suite) that are available in the Google Play Store (for android) I've been able to use these apps with the pen and folding the Samsung flat makes it a beautiful tablet to draw on. The apps will download and install in the "android" side of the chromebook. That was one of the things that drew me towards the Samsung chromebook plus in particular (having access to the android PLAY store).
