“Is there any reason this band wouldn't work with non-Samsung devices that use standard 20mm bands?”

I decided to circle back and answer my own question just to confirm... Yes, this band works perfectly on my Amazfit GTR Mini. I'm super happy with it.

I dont see why not. It has pins like normal bands. The Samsung watch is like a normal watch face. The quick release needs to be a function of all watch bands.
