• No, it is small and doesn't refill itself very quickly. That is the difficulty in having an ice maker in the fridge instead of the freezer section. Buy extra bags of ice and keep them the freezer to supplement in hot weather.

• Great question, Hedugit. The normal production amount for this ice maker is approximately 2 trays of ice every 3 hours. Be sure to dispense ice occasionally during this period. If ice piles up at one end of the bucket, the ice maker will think it is full and stop ice production.^Lo
