Hi Judy,

Cast iron could scratch the ceramic glass cook top. I'd suggest referring to the section in the User Manual, which can be downloaded as a pdf file from Samsung's website, for advice on selecting the proper cookware.

My guess would be that they are too harsh on the cook top and it will scratch. This is a black cook top and any scratches / marrs will show.
