The top can be used separately with the bottom off as long as the divider is in, or can be used along with the bottom on as a single oven with the divider out. Similarly the bottom can be used separately with the divider in and the top off. You can broil in the top and use convection or regular bake in the bottom but you must have the divider in. You can’t broil in the bottom alone. You can use convection in both simultaneously as long as the divider is IN. The oven is VERY versatile operating as one big oven or separately with the divider in.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Take the insert from the warmer drawer and insert it just under the top door (small door). You will see a groove for it and a button will depress in the back of the oven. You'll hear a beep that indicates that it's in. Just select top oven on the console and the oven will just heat the upper oven.
