I was concerned about this prior to purchasing it. I have had the laptop now for over five months and battery life has seldom proved to be any true negative. If you suspend sleep mode so its always on the internet like I do you can get a soli 6 hours. Mind you that's running full power. If you use a energy saving setting it doubles the time to around 11 hours. My onky complaint is the underside can get wicked hot if you're actively using it having it on your lap is noticeable. Always use some kind of solid surface underneath it. Last comment the little bugger has been dropped so many times and nothing. Takes it like a champ. Definitely a choice buy.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Can't say that I have officially heard anything about an update fixing the battery life, but mine does seem to last a touch longer. Could be my usage too, so can't be for certain.
