When on the best buy site, as long as you enter that you are looking for phones that are in the verizon catagory, when first asked who is your carrier, push verizon, and every phone displayed from then will work and come with a verizon sim card, yes this is a verizon replacement phone for new or existing line. You will still get charged a $40 activation fee no matter what , it will come with activation and transfer data from old to new phone instructions, dont fall for paying to have it transfered , it simple, . If you still owe money for a phone associated with that line. You will have to pay it off in full. Or they will not allow replacement, then you would have to get new line
