“This phone sells with a $200 discount with Sprint activation. If I buy this phone today with Sprint activation will it get locked to Sprint? Also if I want to switch to another provider in a month will I have to pay Sprint back the discounted amount?”

I paid $80.00 for phone on 12/23 with Sprint activation deal (phone will remain unlocked, it's just "activated" with Sprint service...i used kickstart, with no contract). My first bill came, 75.00 (45/month of service and one time 30 activation fee). Seems like after a month (or maybe it's two) you could cancel and switch carriers (so far I'm liking the unlimited data and service is excellant).
