At that time, if you bought it with Verizon at Best Buy it was about $225.00 plus tax or $275.00 plus tax to buy it unlocked and then take it to your carrier to get new sim card. The one they sold me is the international version. It's okay but be warned, had the Galaxy S7 unlocked international version and when it started to have connection problems, it could not be repaired as it was not compatible with repair software designed for domestic versions of Galaxy phones. I was told I would have to find out the country of origin and then return the phone for repair to the maker of the phone in that country.
