QuestionWhy do the cases for the Samsung Galaxy a71 5g UW, that specifically state that they do not fit the Verizon model, not fit the Verizon model?!?!?!? I can't imagine that Samsung makes a different model of this phone for each different cell companies!

- Answer I read a bunch of A71 case reviews on Amazon, and 1 mentioned that he tried the case on his Verizon A71 and the buttons on the side were in a slightly different place so you can't push them with the case on. Pretty annoying.

QuestionDoes this model have the SD card option? It isn't listed in the overview/ specs. Most Galaxys do, but I wanted to make sure.

- Answer Yes, you can expand the memory with a micro SD card. The drawer with the micro SD card is also the same one with the SIM card. Don’t pull it out all the way when you install yours or else you will have a frustrating time getting everything back in its proper place. Don’t ask me how I know.........

- Answer i had it yesterday at best buy and i up date my old phone and the price was for up date not for a new line .to be sure ask them mine was update for that price .. very good phone and very fast with lots of feature

QuestionIf I pay in installments, will that affect my contract w/ Verizon which currently provides for unlimited service? When I bought an A71 a year ago, I had to pay in a lump sum in order to avoid a contract modification with limits.

QuestionMy new Samsung - Galaxy A71 5G UW 128GB arrived in the mail yesterday but the seals on each side of the box were already cut. It's a new phone, not refurbished so is this still normal?

- Answer That isn't normal. That is a sign that it's either Open Box (meaning its either a display unit or just the box has been opened but the phone inside hasnt been subjected to regular wear and tear yet) or someone has probably tampered with it. More than likely it is the former.

- Answer Depends. If you are already in the Android ecosystem (Samsung, LG, Motorola, some Nokia, OnePlus, anything that isn't Apple, Amazon or Microsoft) then all you have to do is sign into your Google account and you can restore from another phone's backup to tell the phone what data it needs to download. If you are in Samsung's ecosystem already the process goes at double the speed because it also downloads data from Samsung servers. If you are on iOS, a portable Windows OS or Amazon Fire OS then you will have to rebuy your apps. That is unfortunate, but its because of licensing/royalties.
