• i had it yesterday at best buy and i up date my old phone and the price was for up date not for a new line .to be sure ask them mine was update for that price .. very good phone and very fast with lots of feature

• This isnt a new line, or an upgrade. This is the phone itself. Personally what I did was buy one unlocked (a bit more, but trust me its worth the extra cash) and take it over to Verizon to be activated as a new line. All you gotta do when you swap providers is pop a new SIM in and go.

• I got my phone through Best Buy as an upgrade to my old phone without doing anything to add or change lines. If that option is not available to you now, you might try Samsung on their website.
