That isn't normal. That is a sign that it's either Open Box (meaning its either a display unit or just the box has been opened but the phone inside hasnt been subjected to regular wear and tear yet) or someone has probably tampered with it. More than likely it is the former.

I was told ( I can't remember who) that if it arrived damaged or unsealed it could have been tampered with so do not accept it or ask for a different phone to be shipped to you.
