“Does anyone know how to keep the back light on with this keyboard? Whenever i press Fn+F9 it only adjusts the brightness level, and keyboard back light only stays on briefly before flickering off. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you,”

Try covering the light sensor. Keyboard will stay lighted if the the light sensor senses darkness.
