From what I know it has a PCI-E Gen 4.0 nvme which can be upgraded, so YES. The previous gen only had 1 slot, so one would assume this newer gen would also have only 1 slot as well.

Although the  larger 15.6" does have two slots in the previous gen so again, I would assume the new gen will also have two slots.

I upgraded to the samsung 970 SSD 2TB and works great. The internal micro SD slot is on the internal USB 2 bus so performance is terrible (max about 30 MB/sec) ... the same SDXC card gets 95 MB/sec when used on the external USB port with a Thunderbolt 4 cable. Samsung announced a 4TB SSD M2 990 for sometime in OCt 2023.

This has been discussed for a long time. The answer is yes. There is only 1 m2 ssd Slot in the 13.3” so you can upgrade only not add a second one. Samsung website says upgradable to 1 tb but it works without any issue with 2 TB
