Good day T5, thank you for taking the time to ask us your question about the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge. Yes, the Galaxy Book4 Edge can make and receive calls by connecting to your Galaxy phone. Please ensure that you're signed into your account on both devices. If you have additional questions, feel free to reach out to Support. Thanks for being a staunch Samsung customer. - Debra
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.ANY computer can make and receive phone calls using the proper app, like Google Voice, and channeling the call through the internet. This one, like many, can also connect to your phone for phone calls. However, it cannot independently act like a cellphone, since there is no SIM or eSIM capability for direct cellular connectivity. If you want something like that, search LTE or 5G laptops. The ones that have this feature are generally geared to business customers, like the HP EliteBook series, Dell Latitude and Precision series, Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon, some Microsoft Surface Pros and Gos, Samsung Galaxy Book series, some Apple MacBooks, Acer Swift and TravelMate lines. Or you can just use your phone or a MiFi.
